Through the Eyes of a Young Climate Activist from Uruguay

This film portrays 18-year-old climate activist Sofia Canessa and follows her to the Fridays for Future demonstration in Glasglow, where she represents her native Uruguay during the United Nations Climate Change Conference and draws attention to the consequences of climate catastrophe. The film documents her challenges, her aspirations for the future and her determination to make a difference. More than 120,000 people demonstrated in Glasgow on November 5, 2021, demanding faster and more effective action to combat climate change.
